August 8, 2025 - The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Professor Dato Ts. Dr. Sharifudin bin Md Shaarani, received an engagement session with representatives from Malaysia Board of Technologists. The representatives included Dr. Md Fauzi bin Md Ismail, Registrar of MBOT, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS), Y.M Raja Syariz Zafian bin Raja Sulaiman and Ms. Auni Batrisya binti Mohamad Zaihan, Assistant Director of TTAS to present the proposed establishment of the Putrajaya Accord.

The session aimed to gather input related to halal elements in the fields of Food Technology, as well as to obtain feedback and further clarification on the requirements and necessary improvements for the implementation of the Putrajaya Accord.
